DC Winter Restaurant Week offers taste of acclaimed restaurants

$35 Dinner and $22 brunch arrive

The Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) is presenting DC Winter Restaurant Week January 22-28, 2018. Several high-profile, acclaimed and award-winning restaurants from the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. area are being featured during the week-long event. Catch the artisanry and impressive techniques of area restaurateurs, chefs and their culinary teams, for the special price of $22 for brunch and lunch, and $35 for dinner.

RAMMY-award winning restaurants of the recent past, including Fiola, Hazel Restaurant, Passionfish Bethesda, Proof and Yona, and more are part of RAMW’s impressive lineup of restaurants primed to be sampled. Diners can make their reservations for a table on Winter Restaurant Week’s website or at participating dining locations.

At Fiola’s, diners can try the Lightly Grilled Artic Char with melted leeks and Taggiasche olives. At China Chilcano, the Restaurant Week includes Kam Lu Wantan with crispy pork-shrimp dumpling, hoisin tamarind sauce and furikaka. Diners can choose from a variety of Chifa, Peruvian and Asian tastes, including the Aji de Gallina, a medley of aji amarillo chicken stew, fresh cheese, pecan and rice.

Have ramen on the mind when heading to Yona. in Arlington, Va. The Winter Restaurant Week menu there includes three types of ramen to choose from, including the Miso Porky Ramen, as well as Spicy Fried Chicken and Tonkatsu Sandwich: crispy smoked pork, marinated vegetables and spicy mustard.
