Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants is adding its first location in Broomfield, Colo, a northwest suburb of Denver, this summer. A franchise agreement with Brandon Gerrick has made the first Broomfield restaurant possible. Gerrick is a new resident of Broomfield, and is eager to bring the franchise to his new home city. “I am excited to embark on this new adventure,” said the 15-year restaurant veteran in a statement.
The Broomfield location will be the 10th location in the Greater Denver Area and will be located at 1221 East 1st Avenue. Dallas-based Dickey’s Barbecue specializes in barbecue-style proteins that are slow-cooked on the premises, in addition to its homestyle comfort sides.
The Dickey’s Barbecue Pit chain, with 550 stores in 45 states, has also been recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine, Franchise Times, and Nation’s Restaurant News.
