Naf Naf Grill launches delivery, recognizes first-responder service

Naf Naf Grill launches delivery service with free delivery offer, first-responder recognition and Instagram contest

Naf Naf Grill, a Middle Eastern-style chain with 38 locations in more than eight major markets, has launched a new delivery service in partnership with DoorDash. Naf Naf favorites, including traditional shawarma, fresh falafel and handmade pita, can be served up at customers’ homes and offices using the Naf Perks app or online. To promote the service, Naf Naf will offer free delivery for a limited time.

The new delivery service is part of a comprehensive digital strategy that saw the app launch in January and is ongoing so that Naf Naf is able to deliver on its commitment to a seamless guest experience. The Chicago-based fast-casual chain has also installed “to-go” areas in each location and is making changes to its back-of-house prep and cooking stations in this digital effort.

Naf Naf Grill guests can order Middle Eastern-style fare online at nafnafgrill.com or through the Naf Perks app.

As the delivery service is launched, Naf Naf is also recognizing service by first responders. Its chief executive, Paul Damico, will personally deliver food to the University of Chicago Hospital, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and local Chicago Police and Chicago Fire Department stations to thank them for their service. Damico was named CEO in June of 2017, having extensive branding, marketing and operational experience, and held high-profile roles at Focus Brands.

Naf Naf guests can also join the chain’s recognition movement, calling out someone in gratitude who has “delivered for them” in their lives, and post it on Insagram with a tag of @nafnafgrill, for a chance to win a free year of food for themselves and the special person.

According to Naf Naf Grill, delivery orders are subject to a $15 minimum and the free delivery offer is valid on orders of up to $100 between September 12-19, 2018. Terms of the offer are available online at nafnafgrill.com.

“Now, with the option to order Naf for delivery, we’re able to give them a new way to enjoy our food on their own terms,” said Damico, in a statement.
