The Pulled Pork and Queso Burrito will be offered in both U.S. and Canadian locations
Qdoba has introduced a Pulled Pork & Queso Burrito. The comfort menu item is being added to its selections at stores across the United States and Canada in time for winter. The 750-unit fast-casual chain says its pulled pork is the leanest protein on the menu. Inside the burrito, guests will find the pulled pork, slow braised with a seasoning blend infusing it with tomatoes, onion, garlic and mild chile flavors, nestled in a warm flour tortilla with a cilantro-lime white rice and seasoned with black beans, cilantro, and topped with pico de gallo, shredded cheese and Qdoba’s 3-Cheese Queso.

“Our restaurant teams slow-braise the protein for six hours in a flavorful seasoning blend with notes of tomatoes, onions, garlic and mild chilies,” said Jill Adams, senior VP of Marketing at Qdoba, in an announcement. “Then, they hand-pull it and marinate it in tangy tomatillos, jalapeños, garlic, and fresh lime juice in-restaurant. A lot of care goes into our pulled pork, resulting in its tender, juicy flavor that pairs perfectly with the other ingredients of the Pulled Pork & Queso Burrito.”
