Koziol is first Bojangles’ chief restaurant support officer
Bojangles’ has hired Ken Koziol, a 35-year restaurant industry veteran, who was executive vice president of Supply Chain, Manufacturing and International, at Panera Bread. Koziol fills the new chief restaurant support officer role for Bojangles’, reporting to Jose Amario, chief executive of Bonjangles’. Koziol spent 20 years at McDonald’s, holding various posts and promoted to executive vice president and McDonald’s Worldwide chief restaurant officer prior to his departure.
Amario said in a news release, “Ken’s extensive strategy development background, QSR business acumen and industry experience will add tremendous value to us as we prepare the groundwork for our long-term growth strategy.” Bojangles’ Chief Executive Amario took the helm of the Charlotte, N.C.-based chicken and biscuit chain in January.
