El Pollo Loco released new Enchilada Platters in three different flavors. The hand-rolled Double Chicken Enchiladas, Chicken & Shrimp Enchiladas and Shrimp & Avocado Enchiladas are made with stone ground tortillas and now available as limited time offerings (LTOs). El Pollo Loco Enchilada Platters offer something new on the menu to entice customers in the last weeks of a withering winter. El Pollo Loco is also promoting its cheese enchiladas, made with Monterey Jack cheese, in a new family deal.
Its cheese enchiladas are topped with either rojo or verde sauce, and cotija cheese and avocado. In a value promotion, customers that add four enchiladas to a family meal will pay only $4 extra.
Consequently, El Pollo Loco is running new ads for the family deal promotion, and they can be viewed on YouTube. For convenience, the chain says guests can order ahead for pick-up or delivery online at http://www.elpolloloco.com/order. Patrons will also skip the lines by ordering ahead through the El Pollo Loco mobile app.
“Homemade enchiladas are such a great family dish, but many people simply don’t have the time to make them from scratch,” said Heather Gardea, vice president, Research and Development and executive chef of El Pollo Loco, in an announcement. “Just like our delicious fire-grilled chicken, the new Enchilada Platters are prepared with the same time, craft and quality ingredients as you would find with your own family’s recipes.”
QSR El Pollo Loco serves up fire-grilled chicken and L.A. Mex food. The Costa Mesa, Calif.-quick-service chain operates or franchises 480 stores.
