Wendy’s adds three new Made to Crave sandwiches to menu
Wendy’s announced launching a new Made to Crave Chicken Menu. Avocado BLT, S’Awesome Bacon Chicken and Barbecue Chicken form the new lineup. Wendy’s reformulated its chicken, which resulted in a more tender and juicy flavor profile, the Dublin, Ohio-based chain said. The QSR chain expects the investments made in its chicken will pay dividends with the new Made to Crave Chicken menu.
To drive new trial, Wendy’s previously released a Made to Crave hamburger collection. Its positive results led the chain to launch a similar chicken sandwich menu. “So why settle for basic when you can satisfy your cravings with any undeniably good, every day flavor from our lineup of new Made to Crave Chicken sandwiches,” said Kurt Kane, Wendy’s EVP and chief concept and marketing officer.

Here is the Made to Crave Chicken lineup:
- The Avocado BLT ($5.99) is Wendy’s take on the classic BLT. Wendy’s prepares a grilled chicken filet and tops it with melted muenster cheese, Applewood-smoked bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, and buttermilk ranch sauce. These ingredients are then served on a Wendy’s bun.
- Wendy’s S’Awesome Bacon Chicken sandwich ($5.99) combines a lightly breaded and seasoned chicken fillet, melted muenster cheese, three strips of sizzling Applewood-smoked bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and Wendy’s S’Awesome™ sauce, served on a bun.
- The Barbecue Chicken sandwich ($5.49) piles melted muenster cheese, crispy fried onions, pickles and a spicy chicken fillet on a bun. Wendy’s smothers the ingredients in Kansas City-style barbecue sauce described as sweet and smoky.
