Interim CFO transitions to Supply Chain, Business Development
A new Dave & Buster’s CFO has been appointed after the company’s chief financial officer role was filled on an interim basis since 2018. Scott J. Bowman was named Dave & Buster’s CFO and senior vice president. His duties began May 6. Bowman worked at Hibbett Sports as chief financial officer until April 2019. Prior to his work at Hibbett, he held high-profile roles at The Home Depot and Accounting management stints at Rubbermaid Home Products.
Additionally, the new Dave & Buster’s CFO worked at Anchor Hocking Glass Company and the Sherwin-Williams Company.
Meanwhile, Joe DeProspero transitioned to the position of senior vice president of Supply Chain and Business Development, effective May 6. In the interim chief financial officer role, DeProspero helped pinch hit since August 2018. At Dave & Buster’s, he’s worked his way up the Finance track since 2006. DeProspero is an alumnus of Arby’s Restaurant Group and Carlson Restaurants Worldwide, Inc.

Bowman) brings a proven track record of success and deep experience working with brands that, like us, are focused on creating a great customer experience,” said Brian Jenkins, Dave & Buster’s chief executive. “His strategic vision, financial discipline, and care for the people he supports will make him a great addition to our senior team.”
Bowman earned a BS, Accounting and Finance, from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He also received a MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
