Carl’s Jr. unveils Western Fries, Triple Western Bacon Cheeseburger

Carl’s Jr. announced it added Western Fries and a Triple Western Bacon Cheeseburger. The new menu additions are a spin on its Western Bacon Cheeseburger, which has become a fan favorite. Also, the Franklin, Tenn.-based QSR suggested the original Western Bacon Cheeseburger is a top seller.

Indulgence is the theme of this rollout. Carl’s Jr. Western Fries taste like the original Western Bacon Cheeseburger. Customers will notice flavors of BBQ sauce, charbroiled beef patties, and cheese in the fries, which even hint at “notes” from the sesame seed bun. Carl’s Jr. Western Fries offer up all of these flavors due to a special seasoning, says the QSR.

For the Carl’s Jr. Triple Western Cheese Burger, the 3,800-unit sandwich chain stacks three beef patties on a sesame seed bun and piles it with four slices of Applewood smoked bacon, American cheese, crispy onion rings and BBQ sauce.

“We are excited for our customers to taste the new outcome that will allow you to enjoy the essence of our bold Western Bacon Cheeseburger with every fry you pop into your mouth,” said Owen Klein, Carl’s Jr. vice president of Culinary Innovation.

And Carl’s Jr. Western Fries start at $2.99, while the Triple Western Cheeseburger is sold for $7.99. Both items are available as limited-time offerings.
