QSR adds Mac and Cheese after successful test
Chick-fil-A Mac and Cheese debuted nationwide. The launch follows a successful test of the comfort product by Chick-fil-A in five markets. The chicken-based QSR said it was the first permanent side menu addition since 2016. Chick-fil-A Mac and Cheese combines cheddar, parmesan and Romano cheeses as part of its own formulation.
We have a very high bar when it comes to adding a menu item, but the feedback from our customers in the test markets made this decision easy,” said Amanda Norris, executive director of menu and packaging, of the Chick-fil-A Mac and Cheese addition. I am excited it will be available for all of our guests across the country starting today.”
Frosted Caramel Coffee rolls out as LTO
Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A also unveiled its Frosted Caramel Coffee as a LTO (limited-time offering). Available through November 9, the dessert combines a cold-brewed coffee with the chain’s vanilla Icedream® dessert and caramel syrup.
Chick-fil-A has grown to become a chain with over $10B in total system sales and over 2,400 restaurants across 47 countries and the nation’s capital.
