Casual-dining chain also adds Cheesy Crunch Burger
Ruby Tuesday rolls out two new sandwiches, Honey Crunch Chicken and the Cheesy Crunch Burger, August 19. The limited-time offerings (LTOs) will be available until September 23 across 460 participating locations. The value-driven LTO promotion goes for $7.99. Ruby Tuesday’s offer runs concurrent to a similar deal from Applebee’s on its Handcrafted Burgers.
The Honey Crunch Chicken Sandwich features crispy fried chicken, cheddar cheese, bacon, fried onion rings and a creamy honey mustard drizzle. Ruby Tuesday tops the Cheesy Crunch Burger patty with melted pimento cheese, bacon pieces and fried onion rings. The restaurant then drizzles it with sriracha ranch and nestles it in a roll. Both items come with a choice of fries or tots.
“These two promotional sandwiches were specifically developed with a flavor profile that focuses on craveability.” said Jenifer Boyd Harmon, chief marketing officer for Maryville, Tenn.-based Ruby Tuesday. “We developed these LTOs to welcome guests back to Ruby Tuesday everyday value with a take on legendary favorites that put this brand on the map.”
Ruby Tuesday guests can order the Honey Crunch Chicken Sandwich and Cheesy Crunch Burger with a Garden Bar option for $3.99. In addition, they can request loaded fries or tots for $1.49 more. Those with gluten sensitivities may consider ordering the gluten-free bun for $1 more.
