September Drink of the Month is a twist on Long Island cocktail
The Applebee’s September Adios Drink of the Month is out. Adios, which means “goodbye” in Spanish, arrives at participating Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar locations across the U.S. The drink unveiling signals the changing seasons, and the saying of “adios” to summer. For $1, the cocktail packs a punch. It combines vodka, rum, tequila, and gin, along with blue curacao, sweet & sour and Sierra Mist soft drink.
Also, Applebee’s serves the drink in a 10-ounce mug. Glendale, Calif.-based Applebee’s describes the $1 Adios Drink of the Month as a “colorful twist” on a Long Island Iced Tea. “Guests are going to really love our refreshing, vibrant $1 Adios,” said Patrick Kirk, vice president of beverage innovation at Applebee’s. “Say goodbye or hello with our take on this special drink that’s packed with spirits and gives you a reason to kick back and enjoy.”
Also, participation and pricing vary by restaurant. In addition, the limited-time drink is only available for the month of September. The Adios Drink of the Month includes Pepsi’s Sierra Mist.
