In new selections, chain taps gourmet fry trend
Boston’s Pizza Restaurant and Sports Bar introduced new gourmet fry offerings at its restaurants. The chain’s collection of cheese fries, it announced, will most likely appeal to both its restaurant and bar customers. Boston’s gourmet fries menu includes Fiesta Fries, Truffle Parmesan Fries, Chicken Bacon Ranch Fries, and BBQ Pulled Pork Cheese Fries.
Dallas-based Boston’s recommends pairing the gourmet fries with Sam Adam’s Octoberfest or Boston’s new Burnt Orange & Vanilla Old Fashioned. Boston’s introduced the latter during the summer months. “This new gourmet fry line-up is timed perfectly for the fall, when comfort food options become more appealing and when our buildings come alive during the professional and college football seasons,” said Katie Borger, senior director of marketiing, of the new Boston’s gourmet fries menu.
Preparing the Fiesta Fries, the restaurants smother rich queso atop fries. Then they pile on fresh jalapeños, diced tomatoes, cilantro, red onion, and fresh avocado. Boston’s also introduced the Truffle Parmesan Fries, crispy fries tossed in truffle Parmesan seasoning and shredded Parmesan cheese.
Chicken Bacon Ranch Cheese Fries Boston’s seasons fries topped with chicken and bacon, then smothers them in cheese. Then, it drizzles them with ranch dressing and topped with green onions. Also, the casual-dining chain introduced the BBQ Pulled Pork Cheese Fries as part of Boston’s gourmet fries menu. These are crispy fries smothered in melted cheese, pulled pork, and barbecue sauce. Then, the kitchen tops them with pickled jalapeños and green onion.
Boston’s Pizza Restaurant and Sports Bar (Boston’s) operates 20 locations in the United States. With 400 restaurants in Canada, Boston’s Pizza is one of the largest casual-dining chains in the country.
