Partnership integrates ezCater orders into Clean Juice POS
Chowly now integrates catering orders from ezCater into restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems through their partnership, which started in February. The Chicago-based technology company, which integrates third-party online orders directly into the restaurant POS, helped the Clean Juice chain bring in ezCater orders seamlessly to all of its locations. The Chowly-ezCater partnership helps the juice bar chain scale quickly in the fast-growing off-premises business.
According to a May 2019 report from ezCater, Catering is growing 50 percent faster than overall restaurant industry sales. Clean Juice can now import the orders from ezCater without manual input. Also, manual entry is “susceptible to human error” and takes a lot of time, notes Chowly. Catering’s value proposition to restaurants is well-understood as it builds incremental business. Also, catering orders can total $283 on average.
“Chowly’s partnership with ezCater is a major asset to Clean Juice, as it allows us to quickly ramp up our catering strategy while keeping our franchise partners focused on delivering a memorable, efficient, and fast guest experience,” said B. Quick Chadwick, Clean Juice vice president of Marketing.
Clean Juice has over 80 locations and another 55 under development. In addition, Clean Juice is the first and only USDA-certified organic juice bar franchise, according to a Chowly company statement. For this juice bar concept, the Chowly-ezCater partnership provides for seamless catering-order taking and will likely power it for others.
