New partnership with Love’s expands Bojangles’ to 4 states

Bojangles’ to develop 40 new stores with Love’s

Through a new franchise partnership, Bojangles’ will expand to Illinois, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Mississippi. Charlotte, N.C.-based Bojangles’ struck a deal with Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores to develop 40 brand new stores inside its travel centers. The new franchise agreement brings Bojangles’ fried chicken and biscuits to new markets, further expanding its footprint.

Each new location will be managed by the Love’s team after training with Bojangles’ staff. The strategy is meant to maintain quality standards and service. “Whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner, we want to be able to combine a great Southern meal with a fast and easy way to refuel and get back on the road,” said Jose Costa, Bojangles’ chief development officer.

Costa noted that through the Bojangles’-Love’s partnership, the travel center QSRs will be able to deliver a high level of operations, “excellent customer service and quality facilities.”

In 41 states, Love’s is a prolific operator of travel stops with more than 500 locations. “Bringing Bojangles’ to our home state of Oklahoma along with Arkansas, Mississippi and Illinois is something we’re happy to be a part of,” said Joe Cotton, director of restaurant services for Love’s.

Expanding in the Southeastern and South Central United States will boost the growth of Bojangles’, which already operates and franchises 745 locations.
