Tropical drink offered during entire month of January
Applebee’s Vodka Rum Frostbite, the January Neighborhood Drink of the Month, has arrived. It becomes the latest $1 drink offer from the Glendale, Calif.-based chain. Applebee’s new limited-time cocktail reflects a “tropical getaway,” said its announcement.
The drink includes rum, vodka, blue curacao, creamy coconut, and pineapple. Mixed in a way to show off its blue and white swirls, Applebee’s Vodka Rum Frostbite comes on the rocks. Pricing and participation will vary at some of the casual-dining chain’s locations.
“Yes, it’s a tropical rum drink at heart, but we added vodka for good measure,” said Patrick Kirk, Applebee’s vice president of beverage innovation. Dine Brands Global, the chain’s parent, operates and franchises 1,804 Applebee’s restaurants worldwide.
“In the peak of chilly weather, it’s the perfect warm up when you’re ready to tell winter to frost itself,” added Kirk.
