Four, new, flavor options hit menus
Papa John’s launched its own version of a flatbread sandwich, the Papadia, priced at $6. The toasted alternative to a sandwich landed on the Louisville, Ky.-based pizza chain’s menu in four options, inspired by the piadina. A folded, Italian flatbread sandwich, the piadina comes from the Romagna region of Italy . “The Papadia is great for people on the go who are looking to mix up their traditional lunch routine,” said Paul Fabre, SVP of Product Innovation at Papa John’s.
The Papadia follows the launch of Papa John’s Garlic Parmesan crust, another innovation and the first new flavor variation of its orignal crust since its founding.
