KFC rolls out Chicken and Donuts at U.S. locations

Roll-out leverages ‘culinary trend’

KFC will roll out its latest LTO (limited-time offer) in the Kentucky Fried Chicken and Donuts combo. When food pairings were invented, this may have not been top of mind, but this is where we are. The all-American menu item brings together fried chicken with a warm, fresh-glazed donut. Starting February 24, KFC is making the pairing available at all U.S. locations.

In addition, on Saturday, February 22, a KFC pop-up shop will open Los Angeles, the presumptive donut capital of the world. The opening of the shop at 615 North La Brea Avenue, Los Angeles, Calif., from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m will mark the LTO launch.

Also, KFC will offer a Kentucky Fried Chicken and Donuts Basket meal. This limited-time item serves KFC chicken on the bone and Extra Crispy chicken tenders, paired with one donut. An upgrade to a big basket meal includes two donuts.

Meanwhile, there’s a Kentucky Fried Chicken and Donuts Sandwich, which nestles a hand-breaded Extra Crispy chicken filet between two glazed donuts. These meals range from $5.49 to $7.99..

Guests will also be able to add a warm donut to any meal. KFC plans Chicken and Donuts to be available nationwide through March 16, or while supplies last.
