Guests can rapidly cook meats at table with smokeless grill
Handam BBQ debuted in Houston, Texas in Westside Bellaire. The new, smokeless, Korean BBQ eatery presents a menu of Korean BBQ favorites, including pan-fried dumplings, or dukkbokki, a spicy rice cake dish. In an interactive experience, diners enjoy cooking chef-cut meats at the table on a smokeless, charcoal grill.
Co-Founder Jae Kwon and Chef Byung Oh selected the grill-in-table model with a downdraft system.
Handam BBQ’s guests are served premium beef or pork cuts to cook at the table. Guests grill meat communal-style. Using the charcoal-based grill, they can cook meats quickly, while searing the meats, and caramelizing them, sealing in the barbecue flavor.
“The cold noodles are homemade and our kimchi stews are highly satisfying to your taste buds,” said David Lee, co-owner. “We will do our best to deliver high quality dishes while offering the best service possible.”
“Our chefs are highly experienced and committed to bringing the best flavors of Korea,” added Kwon. “We cannot wait to share our menu items and exquisite flavors.”
