As the fiesta stays home, Taco Bell promotion timely
Taco Bell unveiled its At Home Taco Bar, complete with a meal kit for families and groups to put together their Taco Bell favorites. Available through contactless drive-thrus and delivery across the U.S. starting May 1, the At Home Taco Bar kits are available for a limited time. Feeding 6 people, the meal kits include flour tortillas, crunchy taco shells, nacho chips, seasoned beef, shredded lettuce, nacho cheese sauce, hot sauce packets, and additional goodies.
With Cinco de Mayo fiestas around the corner, Taco Bell is making a play to shake up its off-premises sales. In addition to the meal kits, Taco Bell will also publish recipe cards on its blog to inspire its customers. This promotion is part the Mexican QSR chain’s marketing around Cinco de Mayo.
“The cards provide step-by-step instructions on how to use the ingredients to whip up iconic Taco Bell classics, beloved favorites from the past, like the Double-Decker Taco and recipes fans have yet to see,” announced Taco Bell.
Irvine, Calif.-based Taco Bell will also release cocktail and mocktail recipes. The Taco Bell Wild Strawberry Tequila Sunrise is expected to be a hit. The drink recipe cards will be available on its blog starting Sunday, May 3. The $25 At Home Taco Bar meal kits come complete with the essentials:
