Tock 20 unified restaurant suite launches with Tock To Go

Unified platform offers Tock customers reservations + pickup + delivery

The Tock 20 restaurant suite by Tock, providing a unified system for reservations, pickup orders, delivery, and events, has launched. Tock, a technology company that serves 3,000 clients globally has incorporated the popular To Go platform, allowing restaurants to take their own pickup and delivery orders.

The new, unified suite also provides for contactless ordering and payment by customers whether on-premises or at home. In addition, there’s a waitlist system with two-way messaging to help with social distancing, which is CDC-recommended mitigation practice during the COVID-19 health crisis. These are additional features released by Tock:

  • Customizable communication tools and surveys
  • A way for real-time floor plan editing and capacity planning
  • Integrated delivery with no additional costs to businesses
  • Complete restaurant access and ownership of data

“We prioritized these features, adding to Tock’s already robust platform, because we spent the last month researching what diners want as they return to restaurants—and that’s contactless ordering and payment, transparency regarding safety protocols and social distancing measures, and continued contactless pickup and delivery.”

Seven Reasons, a popular fine-dining restaurant in Washington, D.C., was one of a handful of restaurants in the region to successfully navigate the pandemic. It used the Tock system for takeout orders and will now gradually transition to the reservations function on the platform as the city reopens.

“We prioritized these features, adding to Tock’s already robust platform, because we spent the last month researching what diners want as they return to restaurants—and that’s contactless ordering and payment, transparency regarding safety protocols and social distancing measures, and continued contactless pickup and delivery,” said Nick Kokonas, chief executive of Tock.
