New specialties include Vegan Margarita, Vegan Italiano
Chicago-based Sarpino’s Pizzeria has created a vegan menu, increasing plant-baed options for its customers. The new menu includes vegan pizzas and calzones. For its plant-based toppings, Sarpino’s uses sausage made from Beyond Meat and vegan cheese from Daiya.
Specialties include the Vegan Italiano and the Vegan Margarita, and the chain also prepares vegan breadsticks and vegan calzones. Sarpino’s management expects the vegan offerings will attract additional customers and broaden the menu. The vegan pizzas contain no lactose or animal products.
“Sarpino’s is dedicated to bringing friends and family around the table to enjoy a delicious meal,” said Rebecca Kroupa, a representative for Sarpino’s. “Our new vegan options will help ensure everyone is welcome at the table for a fresh, Italian meal.”
