Dine Brands names new president, International and Global Development, CIO
Tony Moralejo, Justin Skelton join leadership team
Dine Brands Global named a new president of International and Global Development, Tony Moralejo, and new chief information officer, Justin Skelton. Both executives will join a leadership team readying a recovery of the casual-dining restaurant franchisor as businesses reopen amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Moralejo and Skelton will report to Thomas Song, chief financial officer of Dine Brands, the parent of Applebee’s and IHOP.
Two decades of working for the restaurant industry in operations, franchise development and legal functions at Burger King form the crux of Moralejo’s experience. Most recently, he was part of the Church’s/Texas Chicken company.
Skelton worked in high-level IT positions at Bank of American in both the Insurance Services division and the Home Loans Division. He also served as vice president, Infrastructure, Support and Operations at CVS Health. Most recently, he held the role of vice president, IT Infrastructure and Operations at Glendale, Calif.-based Dine Brands and served as acting CIO.

Dine Brands operates and franchises more than 3,600 restaurants globally across the Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar and IHOP brands.
