Fourteen Foods opens Dairy Queen in Princeton, Kentucky

Marion Road DQ Grill and Chill features modern, open-air grill

A 220-unit franchise partner of American Dairy Queen will open its latest DQ Grill and Chill restaurant in Princeton, Ky. Fourteen Foods will debut the Marion Road restaurant June 30 and hold a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony in July or August. The DQ store features an open-air grill and provides private-dining sections for grilling and chilling, accordng to an announcement.

The Princeton DQ Grill and Chill offers drive-thru, patio and dining-room dining, following Kentucky’s social distancing protocols. Fourteen Foods will fulfill delivery orders via DoorDash. This flagship Princeton location features an all-daypart menu, which includes GrillBurgers, Chicken Strip Baskets, and hot sandwiches. Traditional DQ treats include cones, sundaes, cakes, freezer treats, and the signature Blizzard Treat.

Since joining the Dairy Queen Network in 2002, Fourteen Foods‘ CEO has grown the company to be the largest U.S.-based operator of DQ Grill and Chill restaurants. In addition, the franchisee became the largest in Kentucky, operating 40 stores there.
