For a limited time, menu features three ‘welcome back’ bowls

Welcome Back Irresist-A-Bowls returned to Applebee’s Neighborhood Bar and Grill as a limited-time promotion. Each bowl, priced at $7.99, arrives with a mix of ingredients that lean on familiar and comforting ingredients. Guests can choose from three bowls, which include the Southwest Chicken Bowl that can be upgraded to steak protein. Applebee’s Irresist-A-Bowl Menu

The Glendale-Calif.-based chain is betting these Irresist-A-Bowls will bring back customers to dining rooms:

  • Southwest Chicken Bowl – a fiesta of Southwest flavors, including grilled chicken, house-made pico de gallo, and black bean corn salsa. Substitute chicken with steak for an additional $2
  • Tex-Mex Shrimp Bowl – topped with zingy shrimp and fried wonton chips
  • Homestyle Chicken Bowl – piled with breaded pieces of boneless chicken and fried onion rings

“From the zing of our Southwest Chicken Bowl to the tasty sensations in our Tex Mex Shrimp Bowl or the delectable crunch of our Homestyle Chicken Bowl, there’s something for everyone to enjoy,” said Joel Yashinsky, chief marketing officer at Applebee’s.

The restaurant chain also announced that pricing and participation may vary by location.

As part of its reopening plan, Applebee’s communicates clearly its emphasis on the well-being of its customers. Plus, the casual-dining chain makes use of a sanitation specialist to tend to strict, regular cleaning and disinfection.
