Sonic Lemonberry Slush Float debuts, BBLT LTO makes comeback

Both summertime LTOs part of contactless, drive-in experience

Sonic Drive-In debuted a Lemonberry Slush Float as a limited-time offer (LTO) through August 2. The QSR also brought back its BBLT Sandwich LTO. The Sonic Lemonberry Slush Float piles real ice cream on top of a layer of its Frozen Lemonade Slush, finished off with strawberries. The BBLT layers crispy bacon topped with lettuce and tomato on a brioche bun.

During summer 2020, the triple-layered Lemonberry Slush Float retails for $2.99 while the BBLT goes for $3.99. Plus, contactless payment and ordering is made possible through the Sonic app once customers drive up. Pricing and participation may vary by store and market, according to the Oklahoma-City-based drive-in chain.

“The Lemonberry Slush Float embodies all three iconic summer flavors, providing guests with a sip and spoonful of sunshine in a cup and a little moment to celebrate everyone’s favorite season.”said Scott Uehlein, Sonic vice president of Product Innovation and Development.
