Two stores to open as chain expands on West coast
In a new franchise deal, Paris Baguette will open two stores in Portland, Ore. with franchise partner Jay Chun. As the brand turns 10 years in the United States, the West Coast expansion will strengthen the bakery-cafe chain known for its cakes, pastries and breads. The menu also features sandwiches and salads, including the Provence Chicken Salad Sandwich and the Smoked Salmon Avocado Salad, which the fast-casual chain’s management team hopes will engender appeal in the Portland community.
With 82 U.S. restaurants already open, Paris Baguette plans continued growth domestically. Chun, a Korean native who has lived in the Portland area for 15 years, will tap his experiences in retail and restaurants to open and grow his upcoming stores.
“Being from Korea, my partners and I absolutely love the products and offerings from Paris Baguette and we are looking forward to offering the diverse menu variety to the Portland community,” said Chun.
In addition to the 82 U.S. stores, Paris Baguette has grown an empire of 4,000 stores abroad.
