Jack in the Box CFO Lance Tucker resigns
Dawn Hooper to assume principal financial officer role
Jack in the Box Chief Financial Officer Lance Tucker resigned, giving notice of six weeks. The company is searching for a new CFO. In the meantime, the senior members of Jack in the Box’s finance department will assume the responsibilities temporarily. Furthermore, Dawn Hooper, company controller becomes principal financial officer effective on Tucker’s last date of employment.
Hooper will report to Jack in the Box CEO Darin Harris. She has worked for the company for nearly two decades and has established herself as a leader within the Finance group. Hooper and Sean Bogue, treasurer, will be tasked with a smooth transition as Jack in the Box finds a successor for Tucker, who helped implement the company’s securitization.
“While we have only worked together for a short time, I appreciate Lance (Tucker)’s leadership and strategic thinking,” said Harris. “He has made a positive impact on the business and the executive leadership team here at Jack in the Box. We wish him the best of luck and are certain the finance team will be in good hands until his successor is named.”
Tucker had worked at Jack in the Box for over two years. He came from Papa John’s International, where he served as chief financial officer and chief administrative officer.
