Smashburger returns Colorado Burger nationwide, launches special BOGO offer
Fast casual offers 13-cent Colorado Burger on anniversary
Denver-based Smashburger brought back the Colorado Burger to stores nationwide as it celebrates its 13th anniversary. The limited-time offer tops certified Angus beef with green chilies, melted aged cheddar cheese, pepper jack cheese, tomato, lettuce, and mayo on a spicy chipotle bun. Typically, a homestate offering only, the LTO will be available at all of its restaurants with a special BOGO offer.
On Thursday, August 6 only, Smashburger customers who order a single or double Colorado burger at regular price, can purchase a second Colorado for $0.13. The fast-casual burger chain is marketing the LTO as a “tribute to the American West.”
“This burger reflects our restaurant’s humble beginnings in Colorado, and we’re eager to share this widely-loved menu item with guests who haven’t yet experienced its distinct quality and flavor,” said Carl Bachmann, Smashburger president.
Smashburger operates and franchises over 300 restaurants in 36 states and eight countries.
