Bojangles debuts Mtn Dew Southern Shock with PepsiCo

New topical punch drink is exclusive to Bojangles

Bojangles partnered with Mtn Dew, a PepsiCo beverage brand, to debut Mtn Dew Southern Shock—a new drink to cool down the summer heat. The tropical-punch-flavored drink has been added exclusively to the Bojangles lineup. The beverage addition follows a refresh of its local, branding and marketing.

“Our exclusive Mtn Dew flavor will electrify your summer and shock up the mundane,” said Jackie Woodward, Bojangles chief marketing officer. “Plus, it’s said to pair exceptionally well with our perfectly-seasoned fried chicken and made-from-scratch buttermilk biscuits.”

Chauncey Hamlett, vice president and chief marketing officer for PepsiCo Beverages North America – South Division, commented that Bojangles is an ideal partner to help “unleash the bold new flavors.”

Bojangles launched a social media campaign with the hashtag #MtnDewSouthernShock and @bojangles for fans to keep up with Mtn Dew Southern Shock updates.
