Ad spots, Instagram, Twitter contest back up specialty-pie promotions
Domino’s introduced two new pizzas: the Chicken Taco Pizza and Cheeseburger Pizza. The Ann Arbor, Mich.-based pizza chain will promote the specialty pizzas in new ad spots starting August 31. The two new additions to the menu go for $11.99 each.
The Domino’s Chicken Taco Pizza comes topped with American cheese, taco seasoning, grilled chicken, green peppers, diced tomatoes, onions, provolone cheese, and cheddar cheese. Domino’s restaurants prepare the Cheeseburger Pizza with a ketchup-mustard sauce, American cheese, beef, diced tomatoes, onions, shredded provolone, and cheddar cheese.
“Now friends and family who are craving a taco or cheeseburger on pizza night won’t be disappointed,” Art D’Elia, Domino’s executive vice president-chief marketing officer. “Domino’s new taco and cheeseburger pizzas are sure to satisfy everyone. Domino’s customers can now have the best of both worlds: the mouthwatering flavors of a chicken taco or cheeseburger, on a pizza designed to be delivered.”
Domino’s will also promote the pizza with a new giveaway on Twitter and Instagram held on Taco Tuesdays. Guests have a chance each Tuesday to win free Chicken Taco Pizzas for themselves and a friend by participating. The Chicken Taco Pizza Sweepstakes runs from August 25 to September 15.
