Applebee’s offers $8.99 Burger Bundle on National Cheeseburger Day

Chain continues to feature burgers, amid their popularity

Applebee’s Neighborhood Bar and Grill launched a new promotion for National Cheeseburger Day, activating a deal for a Burger Bundle priced at only $8.99. The casual-dining chain’s customers are able to choose from any of the Handcrafted Burgers and add it to a Burger Bundle as they order from the dine-in menu or at Applebee’ or mobile app when ordering Applebee’s To Go or delivery, The Burger Bundle offer on September 18 includes a Classic Fries and a soft drink.

The Handcrafted Burgers lineup features guest favorites, including the Whisky Bacon Burger, Quesadilla Burger, Classic Bacon Cheeseburger, Classic Cheeseburger, and Classic Burger.

“This year, we’ve taken National Cheeseburger Day to the next level,” said Joel Yashinsky, chief marketing officer for Applebee’s. Last month, Applebee’s also introduced a special value offer on its Handcrafted Burgers line.


According to a report from foodservice consultancy Technomic, burgers are one of the most popular categories globally, ranking second with 45 percent of consumers ordering them. Experts say that the COVID-19 pandemic has augmented consumers’ penchant for comfort foods.

Dine Brands Global, Applebee’s and IHOP parent company, operates and franchises 1,749 Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar restaurants in and outside the United States.
