California Pizza Kitchen opens at New Salt Lake City International Airport

Restaurant located in Concourse A West of The New SLC

California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) opened at The New Salt Lake City International Airport in Utah. A $4.1B project, the unveiled airport features two concourses—North and South—that are connected by a tunnel and will replace five existing concourses at the older airport when all is said and done. The first phase has opened and CPK has debuted in the $4.1B project. The second phase will open in 2024.

Hand-tossed pizzas, salad, sandwiches, and craft cocktails make up a good portion of the restaurant’s menu. Plus, CPK’s newest unit, which can be found in Concourse A West, also offers a specialty breakfast menu.

Concessionaire HMSHost operates the restaurant at the new SLC between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The design of The New SLC CPK permits a lot of light to enter the unit from tall, rear windows. The light catches the casual-dining chain’s signature bright yellow tile wall, providing for an energetic environment, according to an announcement.

The breakfast menu includes the CPK Classic Breakfast Sandwich, which features a choice of Applewood smoked ham or Nueske’s Applewood smoked bacon with cage-free eggs, prepared omelet-style, with mayo and melted Cheddar on a toasted Brioche bun, served with Crispy Parmesan Potatoes. Guests can select the Crispy Brioche French Toast. This golden-brown cornflake-crusted Brioche comes topped with seasonal fresh berry compote, vanilla bean yogurt and powdered sugar.
