McDonald’s McRib Sandwich returns in 2020
Popular LTO to be available at more than 14,000 restaurants
McDonald’s announced the return of the McRib Sandwich. The popular McDonald’s limited-time offer features boneless pork, which is seasoned, prepared, and then smeared with a tangy barbecue sauce. Restaurants serve it topped with diced onions and pickles inside an elongated bun.
The fast-food restaurant chain noted the sandwich’s national debut in 1982. It also shared that McDonald’s offers the McRib all-year in Germany. In the US, 2020 will mark the first time the QSR will offer it nationwide.
“There’s nothing quite like the taste of the McRib. To our customers, it’s become more than a delicious, saucy moment… it’s a season, and it’s taking the internet by storm,” said Linda VanGosen, VP of Menu Innovation, in an announcement.
The McDonald’s McRib returns on December 2, 2020 to more than 14,000 restaurants.
