Fried-chicken chain recreates 1966, 1971 holiday buckets

Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) has brought back some of its most famous holiday buckets, playing on the nostalgia of its vintage collection, recreating the special designs during the holidays as part of a long tradition. This history goes back to the 1960s. Now, KFC has recreated the 1966 and 1971 holiday buckets with a painstaking amount of detail, announced the QSR chain.

For example, customers will see the “North America’s Hospitality Dish” tagline, which was originally featured on the 1966 bucket. The new, 2020 KFC holiday bucket design also arrives with inspiration from the buckets of the past.
