Both board members have experience scaling organizations

Olo, a provider of online marketplaces and integrator of digital ordering services for restaurants, announced two new board members, Zuhairah Scott Washington and Russell (Russ) Jones. Their appointments are effective immediately.

In her role as a leader, board member and angel investor, she has helped transform these digital ventures. Washington currently serves as global senior VP & general manager of Strategic Partners for Lodging and Vacation Rentals across all of Expedia Group’s brands.

Before Expedia, Washington held the role of general manager at Uber and managed its fifth largest US market. In 2020, Savoy Magazine named her to the list of 100 Most Influential Black Executives in Corporate America. Washington earned her Bachelor of Arts from UCLA magna cum laude and her Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

He currently serves as an advisor to Sierra Wireless, Georgian Partners and the Ottawa Hospital Foundation, and previously served as CFO of Shopify Inc. from 2011 to 2018. In addition, Jones has consulted on major strategic planning, financial management and organizational structuring and growth projects. He is a CPA and ICD.D (certified director). Plus, Jones earned his Bachelor of Commerce ( with Honors) from Carleton University.
