New juicier, thicker Chicken Sandwich in the dance spotlight
American singer and songwriter Becky G will help promote the launch of The Cluck Sandwich, a new item on the Jack in the Box menu, and raise funds for No Kid Hungry. Her new chicken dance will be featured on Instagram and TikTok as she dances for these new promotions. What’s more, Jack in the Box will donate $1 for every dance, up to $100,000, shared by fans with the hashtag #JacksNewChickenDance between December 17, 2020 and February 14, 2021
Beyond the Becky G sponsorship, Jack in the Box is pumping up the dance with Tik Tok fans by soliciting the help of Tik Tok personalities. Josha Sadwoski, The Williams Fam and Matt McCall will break down dance moves to make chicken dancing easier.
“Not only does this bring new life to the classic Chicken Dance, but for every use of the hashtag #JacksNewChickenDance shared on socials, Jack in the Box will donate $1 to No Kid Hungry to help feed kids in need,” said Becky G.
No Kid Hungry is a national campaign by Share Our Strength that helps address food insecurity among children by providing nutritious food and aims to end childhood hunger.
For marketers at San Diego-based Jack in the Box, the new promotion is sure to be a tour-de-force. The Tik Tok campaign taps a social media channel that is red hot and still in relative infancy.

Jack in the Box offers The Cluck Sandwich for a limited time at participating locations. Customers can upgrade The Cluck Sandwich to a Cluck Deluxe Sandwich for $2. The upgrade charge allows guests to add guacamole, cheddar cheese and bacon.
To combo The Cluck Sandwich, the sandwich QSR charges $5.99 plus tax; the Cluck Deluxe Sandwich Combo goes for $7.99 plus tax.
