Franchise partner to develop 30 new units over seven years
MOD Pizza will enter three new markets, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee, as a result of a new 30-store development agreement with DBMC Restaurants, LLC. The franchise partner will expand the MOD concept in central Alabama, southern Louisiana, southern and central Mississippi, and Nashville, Tennessee over the next seven years.

DBMC will most likely open the first store as part of this deal in its home state of Louisiana in 2021.
The multi-concept operator’s portfolio also includes the Santa Fe Cattle Company and Cody’s Original Roadhouse steakhouse chains, operating in the South and Southeast. DBMC also operates Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux, a sports-themed concept and is one of the concept’s largest franchisees.

MOD Pizza operates more than 480 restaurants, featuring personalized, artisanal-style pizzas. The leadership team of the fast-casual pizza chain includes executives with past experience at Starbucks, Panera Bread and Chipotle.
