As 2021 begins, QSR elevates Fried Chicken Sandwich conversation
Sonic Drive-In is promoting its Chicken Slinger Sandwiches, which it says are crispy and irresistible. During January, the QSR has put the spotlight on the Chicken Slinger and Spicy Chicken Slinger sandwiches, offering them for $2.49 each through the end of the month.
Sonic restaurants serve the Chicken Slinger’s all-white meat chicken filet, topped with mayo and pickles, on a brioche bun, ringing in at 350 calories. To create the Spicy Chicken Slinger, the Oklahoma-based quick-service chain adds in a new Spicy Ranch sauce.
“The measure of any tasty chicken sandwich is the fillet itself so we took the time to nail down the flavors our guests have come to crave with the right seasoning, creating an irresistible, crispy bite,” said Scott Uehlein, VP, product innovation and development for Sonic.
