Fat Brands announces Johnny Rockets international expansion

Recent global expansion concentrated in Brazil, Chile

Johnny Rockets has continued to expand as it was acquired by Fat Brands, parent of Elevation Burger and several other fast-casual concepts. As it has expanded across the globe, Johnny Rockets has created a concentration of new units in Brazil and Chile.

Across Brazil, new restaurants opened in Campinas Shopping Center in Sao Paulo; Shopping Barra, Salvador, Bahia, in ghost kitchen format; in Shopping Palladium Curitiba in Parana; and Shopping Vitoria, in Espirito Santo, In Chile, Johnny Rockets opened a ghost kitchen in Arauco Express Pajaritos in Santiago, and restaurants in La Dehesa, Santiago and in PeƱalolen, Santiago.

Johnny Rockets delivers American fare in a diner concept, focusing on burgers, ice cream shakes, sandwiches, fries onion rings, and classic sides. The 325-unit chain was founded on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, California in 1986.
