Bakery-cafe chain also rolls out new Teriyaki Chicken + Broccoli Bowl
Panera Bread has launched two new additions to the Flatbread Pizza menu in the Pepperoni and Four Cheese. These bolster the existing lineup that includes Cheese, Margherita and Chipotle Chicken & Bacon varieties. As with all Flatbread Pizza selections, the Pepperoni and Four Cheese Flatbread Pizzas are part of a family bundle that customers can choose, served with two salads and priced at $23.
The new Pepperoni Flatbread Pizza is prepared with fresh mozzarella, traditional pepperoni and market tomato bell pepper sauce, on Panera’s artisan-style crisp crust. For the Four Cheese Flatbread Pizza, Panera Bread cafes top the thin crust with a creamy white garlic sauce and a blend of parmesan, mozzarella, fontina, and feta cheeses.
Panera Bread Chief Brand & Concept Officer Eduardo Luz commented, “We’ve served more than five million Flatbread Pizzas since we launched a few weeks back, and now with the addition of Pepperoni and Four Cheese, guests have five delicious choices the next time they order Panera, including curbside pickup or delivery.”
Panera also added a new warm entree, the Teriyaki Chicken and Broccoli Bowl, in January, as well
“Our delicious flatbread pizza crust is the perfect canvas for our amazing ingredients, and we couldn’t resist adding even more flavors for our guests to choose from,” noted Claes Petersson, Panera Bread chief food & innovation officer.
