Chicken QSR offers meal for $6.49, plans fried chicken sandwich nationwide rollout
Zaxby’s released new General Tso’s Boneless Wings. The chain’s restaurants prepare the limited-time offer (LTO) by tossing its boneless wings in the new, multidimensional sauce. In the meal deal, General Tso’s Boneless Wings are served with a side of ranch, crinkles fries, Texas toast, and a 22-ounce Freestyle fountain beverage for $6.49.
A combination of the chicken chain’s Nuclear, BBQ and Teriyaki sauces inspired the new sauce. Zaxby’s General Tso’s sauce features a mixture of ginger, soy and sesame, red and habanero peppers, and garlic and onion for a zesty profile.
A growing chicken chain that is poised to expand beyond its Southeastern regional presence, Zaxby’s menu is known for its hand-breaded Chicken Fingerz and wings, which are tossed in its nine sauces. Zalads, sandwiches and complementary Shareables, including Fried White Cheddar Bites, Tater Chips and Spicy Fried Mushrooms round out the core menu.
The Athens, Ga.-based QSR also announced an upcoming nationwide rollout of its previously-released, select-market Signature (Fried Chicken) Sandwich. What’s more, prices for General Tso’s Boneless Wings meals ordered for delivery or pickup may vary.
