Chick-fil-A rolls out Grilled Spicy Chicken Deluxe Sandwich nationwide
Grilled LTO offers alternative to fried spicy selections
Chick-fil-A rolls out a new Grilled Spicy Chicken Deluxe Sandwich January 25. Available as a limited-time offering (LTO), it expands on the grilled chicken sandwich line. This spicy version offers guests a healthier alternative to the chain’s fried spicy sandwiches.
The Grilled Spicy Chicken Deluxe Sandwich starts with a grilled chicken filet marinated in a spicy seasoning. Chick-fil-A restaurant teams add Colby-Jack cheese, lettuce and tomato and serve it on a toasted, multigrain brioche bun.
“We dedicate an average of eighteen months to testing a new item before adding it to the national menu, which allows us time to ensure we can best support our restaurant Team Members while delivering a taste guests will love,” said Leslie Neslage, Chick-fil-A’s director of menu and packaging.
The nationwide LTO follows a select-market test back in 2017. The positive feedback from that beta reaffirmed the potential popularity of the Chick-fil-A Grilled Spicy Chicken Deluxe Sandwich. For the 2,600-unit chicken QSR chain, the limited-time sandwich is the first LTO launch since the summer of 2019.
