Firehouse Subs launches new sub with Philadelphia Cream Cheese, everything bagel seasoning

Everything Hook and Ladder sub celebrates brinner trend

Firehouse Subs launched a limited-time Everything Hook and Ladder sub, inspired by the everything bagel. The new sandwich offers the same ingredients as the Hook and Ladder, but adds Philadelphia Cream Cheese to the sub and everything bagel seasoning to the custom roll. Firehouse Subs bakes each limited-time offer (LTO) sub roll with a blend of sesame seeds, poppy seeds, garlic, onion, and salt.

The trending brinner practice—combining breakfast and dinner items into one meal—has led to this new creation. And sure enough, Firehouse Subs is elevating the conversation with a celebration of National Brinner Week from February 1 to February 7. On the first Brinner Day, February 1, the Jacksonville, Fla.-based submarine franchise will award double points to its reward members.

Jay Miller, Firehouse Subs director of Product Development, said, “For the full brinner experience, I suggest pairing the Everything Hook and Ladder sub with a freshly baked oatmeal cookie and one of several exclusive orange-flavored beverages from the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, like orange Sprite Zero Sugar or orange Barq’s Créme Soda.”

Plus, Firehouse Subs customers can add Philadelphia Cream Cheese to any medium sub for $0.50 or the everything-bagel-seasoned sub to any medium order for $1.00. For a limited time, catering box-lunch customers can upgrade their orders to the new everything babel sub.

The Firehouse Subs Everything Hook and Ladder sub prices and participation will vary across the system. Brinner Week offers and featured sub availability are not in effect at non-traditional locations, including airports and universities, nor in Puerto Rico, according to an announcement.
