White Castle returns Seafood Crab Cake Slider, Shrimp Nibblers, offers 6 for $6

Slider chain also extends special discount to Craver Nation members

White Castle added back two seafood dishes, Seafood Crab Cake Slider and Shrimp Nibblers, for a limited time through April 4. The return of these popular items come as several QSR chains, including Popeyes, Captain D’s and Del Taco have featured seafood on the menu to drive sales ahead of Lent.

The Seafood Crab Cake Slider includes a slider-sized seafood crab cake, topped with creamy creole sauce, in a White Castle signature bun. The last time the sandwich was offered was two years ago, and this year, it comes a-la-carte or as part of a combo.

The Shrimp Nibblers feature bite-sized golden, crispy, butterfly shrimp. The Columbus, Ohio-based hamburger-slider chain sells the Nibblers in small, medium and sack sizes. All markets, except Scottsdale, will offer the treats.

“Our Cravers are hooked on these seafood delights, and that’s not a fish tale,” said Jamie Richardson, vice president at White Castle. “They truly love our seafood options.”

White Castle also offers the Panko Fish Slider and Fish Nibblers, which originate from Wild Alaska Pollock, fried and coated with a savory breading. In select markets, the QSR chain also offers Clam Strips.

A six for $6 deal also arrived. Customers can select any combination of six Sliders from these four choices: the Seafood Crab Cake Slider, the Panko Fish Slider, the Bacon Cheese Slider, and the Chicken Ring Slider.

What’s more, through April 4, the chain’s reward members in the Craver Nation program will be able to activate an offer through the White Castle app for a 20 percent discount.
