Pollo Tropical features Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich with Miami Heat

Collaboration with professional basketball team leads to three spicy menu items

Pollo Tropical has partnered with the Miami Heat to promote a new Heat Lineup, including a Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich. The menu promotion also includes a Spicy Tostón Sandwich and a Spicy Heat Sauce in the first collaboration with Miami’s National Basketball Association team.

The new menu items are available at Pollo Tropical restaurants, which are locate across the state of Florida. Pollo Tropical’s Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich features a crispy chicken served on a Cuban roll with Swiss cheese, potato sticks, mayo and Spicy Heat Sauce.

In the Tostón sandwich, the crispy chicken is also offered, but it is layered between two tostones, accompanied by Swiss cheese and Spicy Heat sauce.

“We knew teaming up with the Miami Heat to launch these spicy sandwiches would be the perfect way to get fans of both brands excited,” said Hope Diaz, chief marketing officer at Fiesta Restaurant Group, Pollo Tropical’s parent.

To meet projected demand, the Miami-based quick-service chicken chain will also offer the Spicy Heat sauce a la carte.
