Experienced executive to lead equity, inclusion initiatives
Wendy’s named Beverly Stallings-Johnson its new chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer. She will assume the newly-created role effective March 15, 2021, charged with advancing equity and inclusion initiatives and promoting diversity.
The new role will help provide momentum to Wendy’s diversity goals within the employee, franchisee and supplier stakeholder communities.
Stallings-Johnson comes from the City of Columbus, where she served as chief diversity officer. As a resident of Columbus, Ohio for 15 years, she brings a unique perspective and connection to the home base of The Wendy’s Company.
Prior to her role at the City of Columbus, Stallings-Johnson spent 25 years at Xerox in roles with increasing responsibility. Her career there culminated in her being named EEO and chief diversity & inclusion Global Compliance & Policy officer.
Stallings-Johnson received her B.A. in Marketing & Communications from the University of Richmond. In addition she earned her M.S. in Management from Marymount University; and Ph.D. in Management & Organizational Development, Culture & Change Management from California Coast University.
