Dunkin’ rolls out Free Donut Wednesdays
Promotion begins as QSR debuts Blueberry Pomegranate-flavored Refresher
Dunkin’ rolled out Free Donut Wednesdays, a new promotion for its DD Perks members. Customers enrolled in the program can enjoy one free classic donut with the purchase of any drink, starting Wednesday, March 24.
Timely for this promotion, the Canton, Mass.-based coffee & bakery chain launched a new Blueberry Pomegranate-flavored Dunkin’ Refresher, a mix of iced green tea, flavored fruit concentrate, and B vitamins. It adds to the Refresher beverage collection, which includes Strawberry Dragonfruit-flavored and Peach Passion Fruit-flavored selections.
Strawberry Frosted with Sprinkles, Glazed, Boston Kreme, and Double Chocolate are examples of Classic Donuts that can be enjoyed during the campaign.
“We know people are craving some fun and excitement to break up the week,” said Joanna Bonder, director of Loyalty Marketing and Strategy at Dunkin’. “With Free Donut Wednesdays, we’re excited to give our DD Perks members a free sweet treat to help beat the midweek slump and keep them running with a smile.”
Through the campaign, the Inspire Brands subsidiary incentives customers not already enrolled in the DD Perks program to become members. The Dunkin’ Free Donut Wednesdays promotion will last for a limited time through April 21.
In 2020, Dunkin’ launched a similar campaign on Fridays.
