QSR chain pushes value promo to attract customers
Wendy’s brought back the Bacon Double Stack through its $5 Biggie Bag promotion nationwide. The deal is literally “in the bag,” as they say, as the QSR chain pushes value to attract customers. In the $5 Biggie Bag, customers can enjoy the sandwich with a 4-piece Spicy or Crispy Chicken Nuggets order, small fries, and a small drink—all for $5.
Participating Wendy’s locations will feature the Bacon Double Stack for a limited time. Two beef patties are topped with Applewood-smoked bacon, cheese, ketchup, mustard, pickle and onion, inside a premium bun, to create the Stack.
The fast-food burger chain takes credit for the first value meal, created in 1989, and has recently continued releasing value-based promotions. The 4 for $4, 2 for $5 and $5 Biggie Bag are some of the recent value deals Wendy’s has offered.
Dublin, Ohio-based The Wendy’s Company operates and franchises 6,800 units globally.
