Franchisee Peter Xu to open 15 new stores in Cambodia in next three years
Papa John’s signed an expanded agreement for growth in Cambodia with franchise partner Peter Xu. A total of 15 new units will open over the next three years based on the expanded deal. This comes on the heels of a March opening in Phnom Penh of Papa John’s flagship store there.
A US partnership with Xu currently exists, and he operates stores in New York City. He also owns other business ventures in Cambodia

Papa John’s operates in 48 international countries and territories globally. Outside of Cambodia, it expanded into 12 new countries: France, Spain, Tunisia, Iraq, the Netherlands, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Bahamas, Pakistan, and Portugal.

The Louisville, Ky.-based pizza chain also has its sights set on penetrating new markets in Brazil, Japan and Southeast Asia, working with multi-unit operators & developers.
